Looking for fun and easy Halloween sensory activities toddlers will actually enjoy? ๐
I thought I was setting up a simple Halloween sensory binโฆ but my toddler ended up playing with it far longer than I expected. ๐ป What started as a quick rice activity turned into a fun afternoon of scooping, digging, and treasure huntingโall while building fine motor skills without my little one even realizing it.
Using nothing more than colored rice and a few Halloween-themed loose parts, I created two playful sensory invitations: a Witch Hat & Broom Sensory Bin and a Ghost & Spider Web Sensory Bin.
Not only were they incredibly easy to set up, but they also kept my toddler busy digging, scooping, sorting, and exploring. โ ๏ธ Safety Note
Always supervise young children during sensory play. Rice and small loose parts can be a choking hazard for babies and toddlers who still mouth objects.
For younger children, consider using larger Halloween-themed items instead.
